So Friday was the beginning of Fashion Week in NYC!! Only the most exciting time in NYC!!

My boyfriend and I attended the event on Friday. I wore a black and silver metallic mermaid style gown (made by myself- Fallen Star- of course!)  It seemed to get great reviews. Had a wonderful time and saw some great shows. This was my first year uder the tents and it was very exciting. Of course everything is very classy and glamourous just as you'd expect! There is a bar with complimetary drinks such as Vodka and Chambord (yummy!) then there's a booth giving out champagne and cookies. Boy those cookies came in handy! You forget to eat with all the craziness going on.

I attended today as well and was just short of getting into Betsey Johnson's show. It was a huge disappointment for me since she is my inspiration and my hero! I guess I'll just have to try again next season!

Anyway, I spent about 5 hours under the tents today. Met some wonderful people, had some great conversations and got some awesome free stuffsuch as Havianas flip flops (hour wait in line), free Tre Samme hair care products, Boots skin care products and more. On Friday we enjoyed cups full of M&M's Premiums. They were quite tasty but I don't know if I would spend $5.00 a box for them. They ARE just M&M's afterall.
